In the Philippines, many students still face challenges accessing quality learning opportunities, highlighting the need for continued educational reforms and resource allocation.
At the Rotary Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City, we believe education is a powerful tool for creating lasting change.
How We Make Help Happen: Our Impact on Education
RCFBGC champions education through a comprehensive approach. By collaborating with schools and educational organizations, we aim to provide young learners with a strong foundation and equal access to quality learning experiences. These efforts have positively impacted hundreds of students and educators, paving the way for individual success and community advancement.
RCFBGC makes amazing things happen, like:

- Mobile Library Project
- Mobile Library Project
The “Mobile Library” project is a collaborative literacy initiative by RCFBGC, Rotaract Club of Makati United, and Rotaract Club of Tanauan. Spearheaded by Immediate Past President Jan Emil Langomez and Past President Kendrick Go, this flagship project focuses on sorting and donating books to schools in Metro Manila and the provinces. The project thrives on the collective effort of volunteers, generous donations like encyclopedias from Past President Joan Carig, and the leadership of MIP Rachel “Verns” Fajardo and Chair Will Parrone. With a mission to promote reading, foster curiosity, and inspire lifelong learning, the Mobile Library brings access to literature and empowers communities with the transformative power of education.

The club’s “Adopt A School” project exemplifies the organization’s commitment to education and community development. In the 2018-2019 Rotary year, this initiative focused on supporting Ananias Laico Memorial Elementary School (ALMES) in Magdalena, Laguna. This collaborative effort, part of the Rotary Public School Partnership Program, aligned with the Governor’s thrust for that year. The project not only provided much-needed support to the school but also fostered a connection between Rotary members and the local community, encouraging hands-on involvement in educational initiatives.

- Summer Daycare Class
The club’s “Summer Daycare Class” initiative was a cornerstone of children’s development efforts from 2013 to 2017, providing educational and nutritional support to young children in Taguig City. This annual program, typically running from late March to early May, served over 50 children aged 4-6 years old in various barangays including Sta. Ana, Tuktukan, and Napindan. The initiative combined educational activities with a feeding program, supported by DSWD workers, volunteer teachers, and generous donations from Rotary members and the community. Each year, the program culminated in a recognition day, where children received certificates of attendance, celebrating their participation and growth.

As co-leads alongside the Rotary Club of Circuit Makati, RCFBGC celebrated the creativity and advocacy of the youth, who used various media forms to express their perspectives on Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus and global issues. The festival provided an empowering platform for the youth, fostering community engagement, creativity, and social impact, while championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
