How We Make Help Happen: Our Impact on Water & Hygiene Support

RCFBGC is committed to addressing water scarcity and improving sanitation in underserved communities. These efforts reflect our dedication to fostering sustainable development and enhancing the quality of life in the areas we serve.

RCFBGC makes amazing things happen, like:

  • WASH Project: Water Filtration System and Wash Area

A collaborative effort between RCFBGC and the Hyewadong Filipino Catholic Community in Korea brought clean water and improved hygiene to Napindan Integrated School in Taguig City. This WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) project, completed in December 2015, installed three drinking stations, a water filtration system, and a wash area. This initiative exemplifies the club’s commitment to enhancing community health through international partnerships and local engagement.

Our Impact on Disease

The Rotary Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City Foundation is changing the world by providing grants for projects and activities around the globe and in your own backyard.

Rotary makes amazing things happen, like:

Providing clean water: Rotary has worked with partners to provide more than 80 percent of Ghana’s people with clean water to fight Guinea worm disease.

Reducing HIV infection: In Liberia, Rotary members are helping women get tested for HIV early in their pregnancies. They used prenatal care to reduce new HIV infections in children by 95 percent over two years.

Ending polio: Rotary members have played a key role in bringing the world to the brink of polio eradication. Their efforts have not only ended polio in 122 countries but also created a system for tackling myriad other health priorities, such as Ebola.
