How We Make Help Happen: Our Impact on The Lives of Mothers & Children

We focus on fostering the well-being of mothers and children by supporting initiatives that provide vital resources, health services, education, and community-driven solutions for sustainable development and improved quality of life.

RCFBGC makes amazing things happen, like:

  • Joy & Hope Through Community Giving
    • Christmas in July & Other Gift-Giving Initiatives

RCFBGC continuously uplifts mothers and children through impactful initiatives such as the heartwarming “Christmas in July” program, which has served over 4,000 children and parents at Cuneta Astrodome and in Taguig. Collaborative efforts like “Handog Paglingap Mula sa Puso” and “Munting Hiling” ensure essential resources reach families in need. The 2022 “Christmas in July Gift Giving Project,” held in partnership with the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, extended this mission by supporting the Prayer Bible Fellowship Music Ministry’s Ukulele Class, benefiting less fortunate children and young adults. The event featured dental and COVID awareness talks, musical performances, storytelling, and games, alongside the distribution of dental kits, vitamins, Bibles, and gifts. With generous contributions from donors, Rotarians, and volunteers, RCFBGC continues to foster joy, education, and support, embodying its commitment to building stronger, empowered communities.

    • Pamaskong Handog

On December 11, 2022, the club, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Makati Rufino, launched the “Pamaskong Handog” event aimed at bringing festive cheer and support to Aeta mothers and children in the communities of Sta. Ana and Gattaran in Cagayan Valley. This community service project provided much-needed gifts and resources to these Indigenous families, especially during the holiday season, offering both emotional and material support to enhance their well-being.

  • Children’s Care & Support
    • Valentine’s Concert for Young Cancer Warriors

“Harmony of Love: A Valentine’s Concert and Compassionate Mission at Child Haus” brought joy and hope to children battling cancer at Child Haus in Manila. Spearheaded by RCFBGC under President Rachel “Verns” Fajardo, the event featured a dental mission, a feeding program, and the distribution of gift packages including dental kits, educational materials, toys, and medicines. Inspiring performances by talented artists, including America’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer recipient Eleana Gabunada, filled the venue with music and warmth. With partners like the Rotary Club of Makati and philanthropist Ricky Reyes, the day celebrated resilience, compassion, and community, leaving an unforgettable impact on all attendees.

    • Bahay Lingap Project

The “Bahay Lingap” project is a significant initiative by RCFBGC aimed at supporting street children. This community center, located in Barangay Soro-soro, Biñan, Laguna, was developed in partnership with Tuloy Foundation. The project’s journey included various fundraising events, such as a charity bingo and a dinner show. Construction began in early 2016, with regular site visits by club members to monitor progress. The project garnered international support, including visits from a sister club in Korea. The inauguration of Bahay Lingap took place in May 2017, marking the culmination of collaborative efforts to provide shelter and support for vulnerable children in the community.
